With a hot name on the New York jazz scene, this superb bassist has toured with stars and makes music for films. Linda May Han Oh is coming to Gothenburg with her trio.
High Pressure with Kullrusk
Kullrusk is back! Jonas Kullhammar and Per “Ruskträsk” Johansson are plugging their saxophones back into a pair of amps. Full throttle, all-out, and jazzy rock are all words that describe this 60s-inspired, high-pressure sound.
Bach Jazz
Hear compelling and swinging interpretations of masterpieces composed by J.S. Bach. Gothenburg-based trio Bach Jazz have touched audiences’ hearts with this new take on elegant Baroque music.
Karin Hammar Fab 4
Anything can happen when trombone player Karin Hammar and her Fab 4 take the stage. In this combo with acclaimed trumpet player Hildegunn Øiseth, she delivers deeply swinging and exploratory jazz that is full of surprises.
Aaron Parks Trio
Experience American visionary Aaron Parks, one of the most influential pianists of modern jazz. He makes jazz for our time, combining everything from hip hop to rock and bebop. Performing this evening with Cornelia Nilsson on drums.
