Swing and Happy Jazz at the Concert house on 10th of Januar. The event begins at 19 and ends at 21:30 It will be bands from the hole spectrum from New-Orleansjazz to bigband swing. Papa Piders jazz band from Gothenburg is a band with a long history in Gothenburg, and have recently appriciated international fame with tours in Denmark, Germany etc. The young trumpetplayer Clas Nilsson have given the band a new dimension together with the veterans Pider Aavall on trombone and Sverker Nystroem on clarinet.
Carling big band together with Anna Nowik. Anna is with her trombone, a rising star on the jazzheaven. She lives in the polish city Stettin and tours in Polen, Germany and Denmark.
Carling big band and Carling family is wellknown for the public in Sweden and elsewhere. Carling big band is a compilation of musicians from south Sweden. Lead saxophone Matthias Carlsson and wellknown highnote trumpetplayer Gert-Inge Persson.
Carling Family is nowadays with three generations on the scene together.
Sometimes they add a moment of show to the mix of New-Orleans jazz.
