Award-winning Dan Laurin is Sweden’s most well-known recorder player. Together with countertenor Nicolò Balducci and the Baroque Academy Gothenburg Symphony, he treats us to an evening of chamber music overflowing with emotion. Love, tears and hate are all on the menu as they perform Händel and Vivaldi, the biggest composers of their era. They also give us a feel for lesser known Italian composers such as Riccardo Broschi (brother of legendary castrato Farinelli).
Listen to Balducci’s immaculate singing in this video.
