Welcome on a guided tour where you get to experience the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and Gothenburg Concert Hall from the inside!
This is a unique opportunity to get an insight into the work behind a classical concert. During the tour, you will learn more about the history of the orchestra and visit places that are usually hidden from the public. You will also see the orchestra at work during an ongoing rehearsal and learn more about the unique art and world-famous architecture of the Gothenburg Concert Hall.
The tour takes approximately 3 hours and includes a tour in the concert hall, a visit to a rehearsal with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, a talk about the house and the orchestra, as well as today’s lunch in the restaurant.
A wheelchair or similar aids are fine to take with you during the guided tour, but let us know when booking. In exceptional cases, it may happen that the orchestra’s rehearsal times change and that we have to adjust the time for your study visit. Please note that the guided tours are conducted in Swedish.
