Event has already taken place. Join us as the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra brings together Gothenburg artists for a unique tribute to one of rock music's great songwriters, storytellers and entertainers: The Boss.
The love affair has been going on for 40 years. There is no doubt that Gothenburg loves Bruce Springsteen. On May 8 and 9, 2026, the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra will gather some of Gothenburg’s top artists in a unique tribute to one of rock music’s great songwriters, storytellers and, not least, entertainers: The Boss.
As presenter, we see Ina Lundström, Springsteen lover, expert and true Jersey Girl. Behind the arrangements is the successful band leader and arranger Martin Schaub.
The evening is a journey through Springsteen’s long and winding career, from Jersey Shore via Badlands to Atlantic City, where obvious classics are interspersed with lesser known songs. All in new, exciting arrangements for symphony orchestra where storytelling, warmth and musical raw power take center stage.

We experience a range of Gothenburg artists coming together on stage – all with their own voice and entry into Springsteen’s musical universe: Arvid Nero, Jackie Mere, Daniel Lemma, Steget and Stefan Andersson. In the band we hear, among others, Henning Sernhede on guitar and Cecilia Moore on saxophone.
All of course backed by “the heart-stopping, pants-dropping, house-rocking, earth-quaking legendary” Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra conducted by Erik Arvinder.
And a one-two-three- four…!
